copy of email blast sent on Saturday, April 20th, ~3:15 p.m. to all WR home/lot owners who have requested inclusion on the official HOA email roster.
Good afternoon fellow Wisslerians,
Today’s board meeting did not take place as planned. The board arrived at Tri-Lakes Methodist Church before 10:00 and found lights on, but the doors were locked. Although we felt someone was inside, nobody responded to the doorbell nor to our persistent and loud knocking. It was cold and windy, so although we had a quorum, at10:10, I cancelled the meeting. And outside of Nadine and John Awald (Neighborhood Watch), only one homeowner had arrived. There wasn’t much of substance on the agenda, so it would likely have been a short meeting.
As to the cistern, it appears that nothing has happened recently. The reason is that we await delivery of the pumps. The contractor believes they should arrive within this month. A crane will be required to lower them into the vault, as the assembly will weigh more than a thousand pounds. Once they are installed, backfill and final grade will complete the project. Monument Fire will then fill both cisterns and we’ll be in business. Reseeding will probably be needed, to regrow the native vegetation. Additional paving will then take place at both the hydrant location and in front of the mail structure.
If you have any questions, please contact me or any of the board members.
Regards to all,
Hal Goldback, President
Wissler Ranch Homeowners Association
