Wissler Ranch HOA Volunteer Opportunities
Wissler Ranch HOA has responsibility for management and oversight of several critical functions. These include our water augmentation plan reporting, Common Area oversight and maintenance, cistern management and oversight, website and IT management, Covenant enforcement, policy and governance reviews, and the Design Review Committee. As a self-managed HOA, we rely on volunteers to do these tasks. The Board will be providing more information on volunteer opportunities in the coming months and reaching out to the membership about them. Design Review Committee
The Design Review Committee is established by our Covenants and has the important responsibility of maintaining the WR HOA aesthetic standards. Participation in the DRC requires the committee members to be familiar with the Design Review Guidelines and to evaluate exterior modification project requests for compliance. Participation does not require construction or engineering skills. Participation does require a time commitment as project requests must be acted on and returned timely to members.
Wayne Gardner, a WR HOA Director; is the chair. He has many years of experience in this role and can mentor new members. There are four members of the DRC in addition to Wayne. Bylaws Committee
Wissler Ranch HOA has had a member-led Bylaws Committee working for the past year to update our Bylaws with a focus on establishing clear business processes, empowering the board to act on our behalf and ensuring member control of the Association and key decisions. Pat James continues as the committee chair however two members have stepped down as they are now board members. Anyone interested in helping to develop this key governance document is welcome to participate.
