President –
- Legislation pending Governor signature (Fine rule revisions for June meeting)
- Liability coverage at $2M. Additional $1M coverage still with AmFam underwriting
- Water issues unresolved. Revised deed with developer for signature. July resolution?
Vice President –
- Cistern bid firming up. Potential assessments should not exceed $1300. Jim will check with Hawk Ridge for contribution to final cost. Nothing from Fire District.
Treasurer –
- Reports on file for web site. (see Old Business)
Committee Reports –
Covenant Compliance –
- Homeowner Complaints with dirt bikes in Common area Reported to Sheriff.
- Barking dogs still a problem. Working with homeowners.
- Two homeowners with exterior lighting complaints. One resolved.
Design Review –
- One rear deck replacement in process. Identical footprint as existing deck.
- Structure addition being brought to code.
- Hail damaged (total loss) roof in replacement process.
- Water feature fill issue resolved with homeowner. Water receipts to be presented with reading report. No fine assessed.
- Asphalt driveway being replaced with concrete.
- Arbor structure in homeowner backyard approval pending.
- Diseased tree in common area removal approved. Monitoring wind damage to additional trees for potential removal. Beetle season approaching.
Infrastructure –
- Cistern previously discussed by VP
Neighborhood Watch-
- No incident discussion. Still need committee chair volunteer.
Welcome Committee –
- Visiting six homes. Budget still good.
Web Site –
- Recent reports current. Three months from first of the year outstanding. My error. Will correct asap.
Forestry / FireWise –
- Reports are current. 33 ½ hours logged
- 18 slash bags and 2 trailer loads removed to date.
New Business –
- Water Rights still in process. Legal costs now exceed budget for this activity.
- Playground equipment to code and area updated. Thanks to Pete and Wayne for completing this project.
- Homeowner concerns – non-resident daycare children on playground without resident supervision.
Executive Session – (Board Discussion)
- Lawsuit status(s) and trial preparation. Two suits by Homeowners VS HOA re:
- Business insurance issue
- Homeowner vs homeowner on landscape dispute
- Private covenant concerns (barking dogs).
Old Business –
- Board vote to approve adjustments to line items within the budget to meet unexpected but necessary expenses. Unanimous approval by board.
